Whether you a complete novice hoping to learn a new craft in the New Year, a seasoned crafter looking to learn new techniques or just brush up on your skills, are bored with just stamping and colouring in and are simply looking for some new ideas or just want to explore in a new direction in your crafting, we have the workshop for you!
The ever popular ‘Take One Stamp’ workshops will be back, as will our newer ‘Inspired by..’ classes where we take inspiration from a designer, a colour scheme, new stamps or papers, a magazine article or simply the season. We will also be continuing our series of ‘Focus on...’ workshops where we cover a multitude of tips and techniques focused on a particular designer or product.
There will be new workshops from Tina plus a monthly Art Journalling day on the last Sunday of each month -
We will be loading thumbnails of the New Year workshop samples as a flash gallery before the end of December with all the samples on view in store too. As always, all our workshop prices are inclusive of all materials and tools you need to complete the project(s) and refreshments are free. Go on, come along and give it a go!

Children at Workshops
In general, children are very welcome in our workshops as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult who must commit to supervise them at all times. We leave it to you, as the person who knows your child’s capabilities best, to gauge the most appropriate workshops for them. As a child will be using the same tools, equipment and consumables at a workshop as any adult attending, there are no special child rates for classes. Only over 16s may attend evening workshops or evening Tabletime sessions, and only over 19s may attend if not accompanied by a responsible adult.
Following the requirement for all organisations who teach unaccompanied children on their premises to register with OFSTD as a child minding service, we made the decision that unlike larger organisations, such as a Craft Village, who can spread the costs over several subsidiaries under the same overall ownership, as a small family business we cannot fund the resource to cope with the level of paperwork or increased insurance costs associated with registration. We therefore no longer offer workshops, or School Holiday Crafting Sessions for unaccompanied children, and hope this helps explain our position.
